Amanda is the head of service and works with our client base to influence and inform the development of internal audit and governance arrangements both nationally and locally.

Senior Management Team
Our Senior Management Team is highly qualified, experience and have worked with a full range of healthcare organisations. They lead the audit and counter fraud service to clients from locally based, multidisciplinary teams. Being locally based enables them to be visible and integrated with our client staff and to respond quickly and effectively to needs.

Philip Rogers | Assistant Director of Audit and Assurance Services
Phil is the overall lead for the Bristol and Exeter teams and also acts as overall strategic lead of marketing of new services and products.
Paul Thomas | Assistant Director of Audit and Assurance Services
Paul is the overall lead for the Torquay, Plymouth and Cornwall teams and also acts as overall strategic lead on IT Audit and high level specialist assurance services
Vikki Popple | Head of Governance & Business Advisory Services
Vikki is the overall lead for ASW Assurance’s governance, business management, and corporate support functions. She leads the Governance & Business Advisory team and has overall responsibility for corporate governance, financial and performance management, contracts, procurement frameworks, bids and tenders, and policy development. She works with the Director of Assurance Services and other members of the SMT on the determination of the strategic direction of ASW Assurance.
Matt Curtis | Associate Director of Counter Fraud
Matt is the lead for the development and implementation of the overall counter fraud agenda across ASW Assurance’s client portfolio, to increase the awareness and deterrence of fraud.
Vickie Gould – Deputy Director and Chief Audit Executive
Vickie assists Amanda with the running/strategic direction of ASW Assurance and acts in the capacity of Chief Audit Executive. Vickie has over 13 years of experience in leading and developing audit teams and assessing governance and risk management frameworks within complex public sector and not for profit organisations.
John Wakefield – Associate Director of Digital Assurance
John leads the specialist Digital Assurance function at ASW Assurance and is a highly experienced Digital and Cyber Security Audit and Assurance professional with over 20 years’ experience delivering IT audit, cyber assurance, and risk management across the public and private sector. A UK Cyber Security Council accredited practitioner and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), he has held senior audit and assurance roles within the Central Government, the NHS and Professional Services, specialising in strengthening governance, cyber resilience, data security, and regulatory compliance within complex and highly regulated environments.
